Rock Climbing in Scotland

A variety of courses are offered to suit all abilities from novice to advanced,. Courses arrive on a Saturday evening and finish on the following Thursday afternoon. All courses are staffed by professionally qualified and experienced Guides or Instructors, ensuring the very best of attention to learning and safety. A number of different cliffs are visited in order to give a wide introduction to varying rock types and mountain scenery. The courses are based on the west coast of Scotland within easy reach of Ben Nevis & Glen Coe. All technical equipment (ropes & hardware) is provided within the course fee and climbing shoes are available on hire (£4.00 per day).

Introductory Easy Rock

This is a great course for those who want to learn the principles of rock climbing. The basics of safe and efficient movement on rock faces are taught. Choosing the best equipment and using it properly. Tying the correct knots, abseiling, belaying and rope management will all be taught and practiced on the cliffs of Glen Nevis (Polldubh Crags), Ben Nevis & Glen Coe. Ideal for people with little or no rock climbing experience.
