The unprecedented snowfall and wind transportation we have experienced recently needs careful attention. Route choice is key to safety, but also consider any slopes above your intended line which may be loaded under some VERY FRAGILE snow profiles. A careful look at all of the current avalanche hazard forecasts on The Scottish Avalanche Information Service Website is strongly recommended
