A significant increase of 15 deg from yesterday and a passage of unsettled, windy weather has produced ..."A treacherous avalanche situation, amid snowfall in southern regions and storm winds"...Check out Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research for more details. As the week progresses the Chamonix Weather suggests a return to colder weather. Hopefully this will be the same at home. I should be out in Scotland on Tuesday.
