Storm - Winds - BlizzardsFriday, 19 December 2008
An early 0600 Fort William start found us at the foot of Aladdin's Buttress in Coire an t-Sneachda by 0915. The snow and ice conditions were pretty good, but the weather was not playing ball, with a rising wind correctly following the forecast. We climbed Aladdin's Mirror for two pitches, then deviated up into the rocks behind and left of Pygmy Ridge at around grade II. Aladdin's Mirror Direct is complete, plus a host of other good routes. Some other hardy souls out on Mess of Pottage. posted by Westcoast Mountainguides @ 18:02 |
