A Cold Blast is coming South

A really cold northerly blast is expected to appear by the end of the week, ending the recent spell of good settled early autumn weather. Almost certainly snow on the high hills.


Last weekend looking over to Great Gable from the slopes of Scafell


Approaching Snowdon via the 'Miners Track' on the shores of Llyn Llydaw. also last weekend.


Closer to home and the heather is still blooming

Grains Gill above Seathwaite en route to Scafell.
