Hi Alan,

too much snow in the East! Tried walk in to Lochnagar on Wednesday with continuous snow all morning and gave up at the col before descent into the corrie. Took 3hrs for a normal 1.5hr approach. Hard work that skis or snow shoes would have helped, however, the cliffs looked dangerously loaded with snow. Looks far better in the west from your reports.
