Slippery on Tower RidgeFriday, October 19, 2007
Climbing Tower Ridge yesterday in superb Autumn weather. As we gained height, patches of snow and ice appeared. Early season snow will often make this route 'tricky' and neither summer nor winter. This was certainly the case above 1000metres. Crampons would not have made much difference and an ice axe was certainly not required. posted by Westcoast Mountainguides @ 6:05 PM |
