Fine and Dry on the Aonach Eagach RidgeThursday, August 9, 2007
Yesterday as part of Walklochaber week we managed the Aonach Eagach Ridge in near perfect weather, which was worth waiting for. The whole day was around 7/8 hours with plenty of rest stops along the way to enjoy the views. We were fortunate enough to see Red Deer, Golden Eagle and a group of Goats on the ridge. In thirty seven years of visiting this rocky spine I have never seen Goats up there before. posted by Westcoast Mountainguides @ 9:12 AM |
