Some blue sky at last

Friday, July 6, 2007

Finally a brief break in the clouds to reveal the snowy Chamonix Aiguilles. The cool airflow is still persisting and the high rock routes are suffering. However, a settled spell could be good news for mixed or ice routes, once the snow has been allowed to compact.

A change of venue to Switzerland for me after tomorrow and less frequent posts, as I'll hopefully be away up at the high huts above Zermatt, and the laptop will be stashed safely away in the valley.
