Isle of Skye - Misty as usual

Wednesday, July 25, 2007

An unsettled spell of weather on Skye did not deter Wendy and Naomi, grinning (?) all the way to the top of the Innaccessible Pinnacle today. Such a pleasant change from trekking over soft alpine glaciers over the last month!
As we descended, the cloud moved aside to reveal a beautiful view over towards Rum, Eigg and Canna.
Wendy is a world champion 'grinner'. Underneath that happy exterior lies 'some' terror of the descent to come. Well done Wendy.
